What is calcite?
Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3), commonly known as Calcite, is a coarse, translucent, relatively soft, rigid (Moh's) 3 and a coarse crystalline mineral having a density of 2.7.
Calcite is taken from mining area then micronized by crushing, grinding and classification. It is supplied to the industry by normal micronised or coated with stearic according to the needs of the industry. Its main function is to use it as filling material.
